Table Mountain is one of the oldest mountains on earth. At 600-800 million years, it is 6 times older than the Himalayas. Table Mountain National Park stretches from above the City of Cape Town and all the way to Cape of Good Hope. It offers a multitude of hiking trails with various degrees of difficulty.

The Cape Floristic Region - often referred to a the Fynbos biome - is the smallest of the six floral kingdoms of the world, but it contains over 9000 different plants species. Almost 70% of these are endemic to the region.

Kasteelspoort is one of the most popular trails up the Atlantic side of Table Mountain. We start above Camps Bay and finish at the upper cable car station.

The route starts above Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden. It's a steep climb to the top of Nursery Ravine, but the trees along the path provide welcoming shade on hot summer days.

India Venster is one of the most beautiful hiking routes up Table Mountain. It requires a bit of scrambling but that's partly why it's so much fun! It offers spectacular views of the city bowl as you hike along the face of Table Mountain.

The Skyline Panorama Route offers 360 degrees views from Muizenberg across to Hottentot Hollands Mountain and local seaside villages on both sides of the Cape Peninisula.

The hike starts at Noordhoek Beach and winds its way almost 600 metres to the top of Chapman's Peak. You get an aerial view of Chapman's Peak Drive and uninterrupted views of the Sentinel, Hout Bay and Noordhoek Beach.

A total of 26 shipwrecks tell the story of how many ships sailed too close to the shoreline. The Thomas T. Tucker trail starts inside the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and runs along the rocky coastline down to the unspoilt white beaches in the reserve.
